Our Montessori Curriculum:
A Pathway to Lifelong Learning
At Battery Park Montessori, we believe that education is more than just academics—it’s about nurturing the whole child. Our Montessori curriculum is designed to cultivate independence, critical thinking, and a love for learning, all within a supportive and engaging environment.

As one of the only New York City preschools offering a full-day, 5-day program for children of all ages, we provide a consistent and immersive learning experience.

From ages 2 to 6, our students explore a rich variety of subjects, including practical life skills, sensory exploration, math, language, and cultural studies. Each day is filled with opportunities to engage, question, and discover through hands-on experiences. This foundational period sets the stage for a lifelong love of learning and curiosity about the world.
Language immersion in both Spanish and Mandarin is at the heart of our program, encouraging children to think globally and communicate across cultures. Through daily exposure and meaningful interactions, students begin to develop bilingual fluency and cultural awareness. They gain the tools to understand different perspectives and appreciate global diversity.
Our classrooms are thoughtfully prepared to spark curiosity and offer children the freedom to learn at their own pace. Guided by trained educators, students are supported in developing independence, confidence, and creativity. With nature as a constant influence, children learn from the world around them, both indoors and in outdoor environments.
