Claire Zheng- Kinoshita

Claire was born in China and immigrated to the United States with her family during middle school. Following her undergraduate studies, she moved toShanghai, where she spent five years working as a bilingual educator. Upon returning to the U.S., she continued her teaching career in Chinese immersion schools, where she has taught for an additional five years. Claire is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on bilingual and bicultural education.

As a proud mother of two, Claire brings a deep passion for cultural exchange into her classroom—sharing Chinese traditions with her American students and introducing American culture to her students in China. Her teaching philosophy centers on connection, curiosity, and a dedication to nurturing each child’s unique identity. Outside the classroom, she enjoys weekly movie nights, traveling, and her newest hobby: making bubble tea at home.
