Children who are consistently exposed to musical experiences gain neural connections that help with brain development and cognitive thinking. This exposure helps them do better in academic areas such as reading and math, and also helps them gain better control of their bodies, aids in focusing, promotes higher self-esteem and emphasizes teamwork. Therefore our music instruction is not just about teaching an instrument but also about developing the whole musician and their love of music. We inspire all children to be their best through music and work with each student on enhancing their individual talents. From note values and rhythm, to time signatures and enharmonics, activities employ fun and creative ways of teaching music theory and instrumental basics. As their musical capacity and passion grows, each student is introduced to an array of percussion, wind, and string instruments.
